Dangerously unassuming, you may not see a lot of Justin, but you’ll become intimately acquainted with his creations.
A London import, Justin brings the best of British cheek and an unparalleled hospitality pedigree to the table.
Rising quickly through the ranks at the likes of The Savoy, The Ivy and Michelin starred restaurants, if you were ‘someone’ in the UK in the 90’s, Justin is likely to have had his finger in your pie. From Royal dinners at Spencer House to Elton John’s 50th birthday, the man has literally done it all.
An antipodean exploration led to involvement in the setup of beloved Melbourne institutions The European & Supper Club, and finally a meeting of minds [read: wicked humour] led to Fourside.
Justin is a champion of locally sourced, seasonal produce. If the freshest of flavours and dishes bordering on the sublime are your thing, he’s your man.
KATIE
The holy spirit of our (unholy) trio, Katie anticipates desires and makes miracles happen before you’ve even thought to offer up a prayer.
In the grand tradition of the very best Neighbours actors, and on a mission to find herself, 18 year old Katie moved to London.
From a pub job in the East End to major events spanning the UK to Barcelona and on to LA, she discovered an un-kickable addiction to the highs of event life.
It wasn’t until a return to Australia and forming Fourside with Justin and Ryan however, that a perfect home was found.
If you’ve seen our reviews you’ll know that across the board, our clients and collaborators adore Katie for the care [and champagne] she brings to every relationship.
Katie splits her time between Fourside’s culinary event production and running artist liaison at major music festivals - So when she’s not looking after literal rock stars, she’s looking after you.
RYAN
Front of house class, sass and a wealth of amassed fine dining and events experience.
Our Mr. Worldwide, Ryan is well travelled and well known - We’re yet to host an event where he doesn’t know somebody.
From his early days working under hospitality royalty at St Kilda’s iconic Stokehouse, to the Distillery District in Toronto and other far flung escapades, Ryan brings an easygoing confidence to everything he touches.
A local on Melbourne’s riviera [The Peninsula] Ryan honed his skills at the Port Phillip Estate Winery in Red Hill, and now heads up one of the area’s most popular cafes [Milk Bar & Co].
He’s our no-stress, anything is possible go-to guy and while he might look nice, he’s actually quite naughty in good measure.
Always on hand with a drink and a joke, you’re likely to find yourself telling Ryan your life’s stories. If you’re lucky, you might even hear some of his, including the one about the time he drove our other favourite Ryan [Reynolds] around in a golf buggy.
